"CHUNG's practices present an integration of nature and art, exploring the relationship and roles of humans within nature. She pursues the serene depths and introspective characteristics of oriental aesthetics and intends her artworks to be vehicles for a spiritual and universal dimension journey and integrating the views of Kado into every of her thematic expressions.

Her hallmark is the adept use of dried branches, which embodying the very spirit of Ikebana. Beyond merely crafting crafting a sense of linearity, these branches stand as enduring symbols of life's lively crescendos and subtle ebbs, elegantly capturing the inexorable flow of time.

For Chung, Ikebana goes beyond its visual appeal; it intertwines spirituality, Buddhist philosophy, creativity, and aesthetics consciousness. Kado represents the art of life, offering a pathway to enlightenment, and her approach towards 'satori'. For her, practicing Kado is not just a discipline—it's a lifelong pilgrimage."
